The Asbury Park Press reported that Superior Court Judge Joseph L. Foster ruled against an effort to hold a recall election in November involving current Pt. Pleasant Beach Mayor Vincent Barrella. Too much time was said to have passed in an article online titled Judge rules no recall election possible until 2010, Point Beach clerk exceeded authority. The recall attempt was based on a petition.
